Sales Specialist, Specialty (HCP) & Retail Channel

Reports to: Sr. HCP & Retail Sales Manager

Location: Remote

OVERVIEW:

You will be a key member of the sales team serving in a full time capacity, with the sole purpose to drive sales volume and profit across the brand portfolio by contacting and developing strong relationships with our buyers whether they be new and/or existing customers (Healthcare Practitioners and Inside Sales accounts). You will be in a fast paced environment which will require that you focus on multiple touchpoints, including both outbound and inbound calls, emails, and social selling (trade shows/events) as necessary.

Duties:

  • Support the launch of OSF private label supplements in the HCP channel
  • Support practitioners and store accounts to maximize educational and marketing assets
  • Effectively carry out revenue strategies for existing accounts
  • Seek out and follow through on referrals from existing accounts
  • Develop new practitioner and inside sales accounts using the vetting and onboarding processes provided
  • Use the systems in place for excellent follow up and documentation of progress
  • Provide assistance on other related projects as requested
  • Tasked to meet and/or exceed your goals as defined by your manager.
  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic and coachable.
  • Seek out support when needed from your manager and AN HQ’s to help you in your selling efforts.

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely response to incoming requests from practitioner and store accounts (phone, email, text); proactively communicate with accounts regarding promotions, training and support (outbound calls, emails and texts as appropriate).
  • Supporting the Specialty Sales Manager to include things such as customer follow ups, providing marketing/sales aids as needed, ordering samples and taking orders as needed.
  • Qualify new leads that come from Ancient Nutrition HQ on a weekly or daily basis as directed by your manager.
  • Communicate with your manager to share competitive activity and intel as received.
  • Work with operations/customer service as needed when HCP practitioners have questions.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of college preferred
  • 2+ years in sales; experience with healthcare practitioners is required
  • Efficiency in Google Drive, G Suite including Google Slides and Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM systems, and phone/visual communications.
