And we couldn’t do any of that without incredible people.The Retail Demo Program Manager will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of retail demo and sampling programs across key retail partners. This role is responsible for driving consumer engagement and in-store sales performance through best-in-class demo experiences, field education, merchandising excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
This individual will partner closely with sales, marketing, operations, warehouse/logistics teams, and third-party demo agencies to ensure flawless execution of retail activations while strengthening brand presence at retail.
What You’ll be Doing
Retail Demo Program Management
Co-manage the national retail demo program in partnership with ThirdChannel, third-party demo agencies, and internal sales leadership.
Oversee demo representative communication, onboarding, training, scheduling, and ongoing education initiatives.
Develop quarterly demo and sampling strategies, activation priorities, and retail calendars.
Monitor program execution, compliance, and performance metrics while identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
Analyze program effectiveness and provide insights to improve consumer engagement and retail sell-through.
Merchandising & Brand Standards
Ensure all demo tables and retail activations maintain a premium, consistent brand presentation aligned with company standards.
Oversee merchandising strategy for demo setups, including signage, displays, branded materials, and shopper-facing experiences.
Manage sourcing and inventory of branded assets such as aprons, shirts, hats, table runners, signage, and sampling materials.
Partner with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistency across all field marketing materials and retail experiences.
Retail Campaign Execution
Lead execution of Whole Foods Market and other key retail demo campaigns in collaboration with Advantage Solutions Marketing and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate demo kits, labels, coupons, promotional materials, and shipping logistics with warehouse and operations teams.
Manage timelines, reporting, invoices, purchase orders, ASN coordination, and campaign documentation.
Field Education & Training
Continue evolving the demo education program to improve field execution, storytelling, product knowledge, and sales conversion.
Develop onboarding resources, training materials, and best practices for demo representatives.
Partner with sales leadership and third-party agencies to improve training effectiveness and field performance.
Vendor & Operational Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison between third-party demo agencies, warehouse teams, operations, finance, and sales leadership.
Manage vendor communication, budgets, inventory, reporting, shipment coordination, and escalations as needed.
Support trade shows, retailer activations, field marketing events, and additional sales support initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of experience in retail marketing, field marketing, shopper marketing, demo/sampling programs, or brand activations.
Experience managing demo programs, field teams, or retail campaigns preferred.
Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with sales, operations, warehouse/logistics, creative teams, and external vendors.
Experience within the CPG, wellness, grocery, or natural products industry preferred.
Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and budget management skills.
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for retail execution excellence and creating engaging consumer experiences.
