The Role: We’re looking for a Senior Manager, NPD Project Management & Procurement to lead end-to-end new product development with a primary focus on project management and strategic procurement/vendor management.. You’ll oversee projects from concept through GTM launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and cross-functional alignment, while sourcing, vetting, and managing suppliers for packaging, componentry, and vendor partnerships.

This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with teams responsible for product positioning, idea pipeline, formulation, and marketing, as well as regulatory consultants and operations to ensure smooth execution from development to market.

What You’ll Do

NPD Project Management:

  • Own the full lifecycle of new product development projects, from concept through GTM launch.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines, proactively identifying dependencies, bottlenecks, and resource gaps.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between Marketing, Creative, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory Consultants, and Finance to keep projects on track.
  • Oversee packaging and componentry development, ensuring design, quality, cost, and sustainability goals are met.
  • Implement project tracking, reporting, and KPIs to provide leadership with visibility into progress, risks, and results.
  • Facilitate strategic decision-making, balancing creative vision, operational feasibility, cost efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Lead handoff to operations and GTM, ensuring production readiness, launch checklists, and internal/external communication.
  • Champion continuous improvement, incorporating post-launch feedback and lessons learned into future projects.

Procurement & Vendor Management:

  • Source, vet, and manage vendors and suppliers for packaging and componentry.
  • Lead supplier relationship management and support negotiations to secure quality, cost-effective, and scalable solutions.
  • Oversee componentry testing, validation, and compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Consultants to integrate procurement decisions into production planning and logistics.
  • Track vendor performance and procurement outcomes, optimizing cost, quality, and scalability.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in CPG, with strong project management experience and exposure to procurement/vendor management; oral care, beauty, wellness, or adjacent categories preferred.
  • Expertise in managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Procurement-savvy, with experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers and componentry development.
  • Operationally grounded, with knowledge of supply chain, vendor integration, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financially fluent, able to manage budgets, forecast costs, and optimize product margins.
    Collaborative communicator with the ability to align multiple teams and external partners and present to leadership.
    Comfortable working in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.
