L&D FIELD TRAINING SPECIALIST

Learning & Development Trainer

Full Time, Salary

Job Family: HQ Support

Location: Austin, Tx with frequent travel

Reports to: Director of Learning & Development

Looking for a fitness regional field trainer who will travel to multiple locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma to assist in training efforts aimed to improve management and employee performance at Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe.

Position Overview

The Field Trainer will play a pivotal role in enhancing Crunch Fitness's success by diligently educating managers and staff members, fostering a culture of productivity, and delivering the exceptional Crunch Fitness Experience for our valued members and guests.

This dynamic role involves frequent travel within the designated market, where the Field Trainer is dedicated to refining the consistency and precision of both managerial and employee performance. By conducting comprehensive training visits, engaging in seminars, and nurturing relationships with the operational team, the Field Trainer contributes significantly to the evolution and optimization of training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-quality field training on a daily basis through role-playing, curbside coaching, retraining, and adapting to various learning styles
  • Assist in the preparation, revision, and effective execution of training materials to ensure relevance and engagement
  • Maintain a continuous focus on both immediate and long-term training initiatives to elevate gym performance standards
  • Collaborate closely with the operational team to monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and design targeted interventions and training programs for employee development
  • Conduct regular and as-needed seminars to disseminate knowledge and best practices
  • Infuse the training and learning process with energy and enthusiasm, resonating with diverse personalities and learning styles

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate leadership development and organizational development required
  • 1 year experience with fitness club ideal but not required
  • Experience in health, wellness or fitness industry ideal
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs focused on performance management, coaching and development preferably in a high-growth environment
  • Experience collaborating with operations team and leaders related to scheduling training interventions and seminars
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to develop and deploy learning in formats such as in person, virtually or via eLearnings
  • Experience with presenting and communicating to diverse audiences
  • Able to problem solve and collaborate cross functionally across all internal departments

Physical Requirements

  • Daily travel by car, occasionally exceeding 4-5 hours
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, often throughout the majority of the workday
  • Present classroom sessions while standing for up to 5-6 hours at a time

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree in Learning, Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation (Salary)

$50,000 - 55,000 (depending on experience) + Commission

Travel

Up to 75% Required

Travel Details

Expect 75% travel to various work locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Overnight trips may be necessary. Per diem on meals and car allowance. L&D will make travel arrangements.
