Full Time, Salary Position

Looking for an FP&A Manager who will collaborate cross-departmentally with marketing, operation, human resources and accounting to develop near- and long-term analysis and forecasts to improve revenue generation, optimize expense management, and take a data-driven approach to workforce planning and modeling.

Position Overview

The Manager of FP&A will play a critical role in the strategic growth of Undefeated Tribe, a Crunch Fitness franchisee. With 19 locations currently open across Texas and Oklahoma, the Manager of FP&A will provide invaluable analysis and insights to the executive leadership team and our private equity partners, VMG Partners, that will allow us to scale to 27 locations by year-end, 35 locations by the end of next year (2025), and as many as 50 locations by 2026 as we enter new markets.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze organizational budgets and perform periodic planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify and track key performance indicators measuring the financial health of the organization or assigned units or functions.
  • Review past and current financial performance against budgeted estimates and develop models that assist management in understanding the financial impact of business decisions.
  • Recommend strategies meant to assist the organization in meeting its long-term financial objectives.
  • Partner with operational leaders during the annual budgeting process to direct the activities and timeline for stakeholders, quality check assumptions and financial projections.
  • Work closely with VP and Controller to calculate management and lender adjustments to EBITDA as part of the monthly/quarterly reporting and covenant certification process.
  • Provide explanations for material operational performance variances to VP & CFO for monthly/quarterly financial performance reporting to board of directors.
  • Analyze and track strategic initiatives, including development of supporting models and expected outcomes.
  • Present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in order to drive strategic decisions that accelerate growth and profitability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years related experience required.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly & concisely (Often leveraging PowerPoint)
  • Strong organization skills - Ability to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines in a fast- paced environment while responding quickly to management requests
  • Understanding of and the ability to adhere to general accounting principles
  • “Hands on” ability with data and analytics
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills and a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Highly analytical, technically proficient, operationally and business savvy
  • Strategic and creative thinking regarding competitive strategy, business models, and financial management
  • Ability to build strong relationships through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a data-driven environment

Physical Requirements

This role is performed primarily in an office setting and requires sitting and using the computer for most of the day. Occasional travel to the gyms to train and meet with employees may be required. Lifting and carrying boxes or supplies may be required occasionally, up to 10 lbs.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, required.

Compensation (Salary)

$120,000 - 140,000 total annual compensation potential
