Location: Austin, Tx HQ (in office position, no remote)

Reports to: Director of New Club Openings

Looking for a New Club Opening Project Manager who will be responsible for planning and coordinating all new club opening project activities to ensure goals and objectives are met on time for multiple locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma at Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe.

Undefeated Tribe is an official franchise of Crunch Fitness based in Austin, TX. The Undefeated Tribe is expanding the Crunch Fitness brand across Texas and Oklahoma over the next two years and will be inviting over 500 individuals to join their team to help their community experience fitness, wellness, relaxation, and recovery.

Position Overview

The project coordinator will work closely with the director of new club openings to manage all new club opening projects including ordering, tracking, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. At any given time the new club project coordinator will manage multiple projects and deadlines.

What we need:

The new store opening project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of new store openings. This role requires exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely club launches.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans for each new club opening, outlining timelines and key milestones
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Efficiently manage resources including personnel, materials, and equipment
  • Ensure each project meets quality standards and specifications
  • Understanding of operational needs and challenges specific to fitness facilities
  • Effective problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues promptly
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and Asana
  • Ability to analyze project data and metrics to make informed decisions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams that include Marketing, Procurement, Construction, Club Operations and Human Resources
  • Ensuring project status and updates are communicated timely and consistently
  • Demonstrating high standard of ethics, integrity and accountability
  • Performing special projects and other duties as assigned and required

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects in a high-growth environment required
  • Must have Asana experience
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification highly desired, but not required
  • Must be able to work flexible/non-traditional hours including weekends and some holidays
  • Ability to travel for New Store Openings as requested

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand and sit for long periods of time

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor degree preferred

Compensation (Salary)

$75,000 base + Bonus
