We are looking for a Director of Learning and Development who will oversee the entire L&D function at Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe.
Undefeated Tribe is an official franchise of Crunch Fitness based in Austin, TX. The Undefeated Tribe is expanding the Crunch Fitness brand across Texas and Oklahoma over the next two years and will be inviting over 500 individuals to join their team to help their community experience fitness, wellness, relaxation, and recovery.

Position Overview
The Director of Learning & Development leads the Curriculum Design and Field Training functions of the organization. Reporting to the VP of People, this person must understand our growth ambitions and strategically create learning and development content that caters to all levels of the organization. In this role, you will lead the deployment of field training resources to ensure seamless club openings and ongoing support in our existing locations.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement e-learnings, field training, and workshops that align with organizational objectives.
- Possess full understanding of the various business units within UDT and their specific training requirements.
- Utilize data to assess training compliance and measure effectiveness on business performance.
- Collaborate with field leadership to refresh content and stay up to date on business trends.
- Manage the scheduling of field training resources to support gym openings and existing gym performance.
- Work cross functionally with Human Resources on strategic projects, including career pathing and development.
- Plan and maintain budgets for learning management software, vendors, and workshops.
- Produce an annual learning calendar that effectively supports growth and existing gym operations.

Physical Requirements
- Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment.
- Able to work in small spaces with high levels of noise.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor degree preferred

Travel Details
Regular daily and overnight travel in the field required (Weekly schedule will include office and planning time in addition to gym visits)
