Position Overview:

As a mixed methods Consumer Insights Researcher on the Strategy + Insights Team at Daily Harvest, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide actionable and valuable insights into customer behavior, market trends, and business performance. The Strategy + Insights team plays a pivotal role in driving Daily Harvest’s growth and long-term success. The team leads the development and execution of the company’s overall strategic direction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven studies, interpret findings, and translate them into actionable recommendations. Your work will be instrumental in shaping strategic initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and driving overall growth for Daily Harvest.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and execute quantitative and qualitative research studies to gather insights on customer behavior, preferences, and market trends, leveraging a variety of data sources and analytical techniques
  • Conduct statistical analyses on large datasets to identify patterns, correlations, and key drivers of customer satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer segments, their needs, and preferences to inform innovation, marketing strategies, and pricing decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer experience and operations, to translate research findings into actionable recommendations that drive business growth
  • Generate data-driven insights and reports to provide regular updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Combine analytics and insights to directly influence business strategy, innovation, pricing, marketing and go-to-market execution
  • Experience with qualitative methods (e.g., focus groups, in-depth interviews) a plus
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in quantitative research methodologies to ensure Daily Harvest remains at the forefront of data-driven decision-making

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in statistics, economics, data science, market research, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS, or similar tools) and survey software (e.g., Qualtrics)
  • Experience working with large datasets (SQL experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing primary quantitative research studies, including survey design, sampling methodologies, and statistical modeling
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, such as regression analysis, segmentation, and predictive modeling
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from complex datasets and present them in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in the consumer goods, food, or retail industry is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including executive-level

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $112,500 - $137,500. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
