Position Overview

The Brand Manager will help us grow and scale the Daily Harvest brand across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints. You will develop a clear, consistent articulation of our value proposition for each product segment and sales channel. You will help our team develop the brand marketing communication strategy, including positioning and messaging, and own go-to-market execution for our brand marketing calendar. Your strategic and analytical prowess will identify growth opportunities and ensure we are meeting our KPIs.

What you’ll do:

Strategy & Activation

  • Steward and integrate all elements of how the Daily Harvest brand comes to life: partner with our performance and shopper marketing teams, creative, culinary & digital product teams to ensure consistent and thoughtful storytelling across all consumer touchpoints
  • Leverage customer segmentation insights to develop thoughtful brand marketing positioning by category and by channel to grow our audience
  • Provide brand leadership and guidance to internal and external partners, fostering collaboration and ensuring optimal outcomes

Brand & Business Planning

  • Develop a holistic view of the category (competitive analysis, category trends, consumer and customer dynamics) to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with business owners to bring growth opportunities to execution, evaluation and iteration.
  • Influence and inform core business processes and deliverables such as strategic planning, AOP and sales story creation that links brand strategy to customer and category needs.
  • Own and manage weekly brand marketing/content calendar and write briefs for brand marketing moments.
  • Partner with creative, social, PR, and agency teams to guide content creation aligned with brand strategy.
  • Develop KPIs, measure and analyze the performance of brand marketing efforts, provide insights to executive and cross-functional teams and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure that brand initiatives are executed on-time, on-budget and deliver a consistent brand identity.

Commercialization

  • Ensure commercialization (category extensions, renovations, and segment innovation) is grounded in relevant category + consumer insight and develop a brand marketing strategy across channels to maximize launches
  • Partner with the culinary team to drive product pipeline development and implementation
  • Partner with business owners to ensure that product pipeline is supported to deliver KPIs, including meeting ACV goals at retail + delivering incremental weekly orders in E-Comm

Leadership

  • Manage, coach and develop direct reports.
  • Provide thought leadership to inspire great work, divergent thinking, and ongoing business-building product and brand marketing ideas.

Who you are:

  • 5-8 years of marketing experience, ideally in a brand management role
  • CPG experience required
  • A four-year college degree, MBA preferred.
  • Desire to function as a business owner and a passion for brand management.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights and action plans.
  • Proven ability to develop effective, engaging and innovative storytelling and marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market processes and exceptional ability to implement cross-functionally
  • Strong preference for experience with omnichannel brands with digital fluency (E-Commerce + Retail)

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
