Job Summary

Drunk Elephant’s Director, Sales & Education is responsible for achieving retail sales and leading a high-performing team of field executives. This role leads the Sales & Education Executives to strategically plan and execute sales strategies in partnership with corporate and retail partners. The Director will establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners to drive sales and increase in-store opportunities and positioning. Preferred location to be Los Angeles.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Achieve retail sales plan and improve B&M ranks in all territories and the assigned region.
  • Coach and develop Sales & Education Executives through recurring touch bases, regional calls, and in-market support. Consistently share feedback on strengths and opportunities to move the business forward.
  • Tour markets to conduct quality store visits and continuously develop Sales & Education Executives. Work side by side with Sales & Education Executives in their markets to coach and lead by example.
  • Partner with and review the Sales and Education Executives monthly calendars to ensure attention and focus on top performing stores and territories.
  • Effectively manage and forecast Freelance budget to drive sales and meet ROI targets.
  • Build strong working relationships with Sephora and Ulta management to generate business opportunities and brand support.
  • Partner closely with Drunk’s Education, Events and Marketing teams to strategize and execute launch, promotional activity, events, brand education, and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate (and encourage collaboration) across regions, departments and SAC brands.
  • Execute and participate in key retail programs and events that impact brand awareness and acquisition. Organize and facilitate team meetings.
  • Effectively manage personal and regional T&E budget and compliance.
  • Skilled in time management and meet operational deadlines.

Qualifications & Competencies
  • Minimum of 5 years Cosmetic Account Executive or 5 years Account Coordinator experience (or equivalent position); experience with Sephora and/or Ulta required.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% - based near a major airport with a preference for LAX or SFO.

  • Must have Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays.
