Director, Supply Chain & Demand Planning
Goli Nutrition
Job Overview
Location: Remote / Vancouver
Our preference is to hire in Vancouver; however, we welcome and will consider applicants from across Canada.
Company: Goli Nutrition
This Is Not A Typical Supply Chain Role
We are looking for someone to fully own inventory planning and supply chain execution across our rapidly growing brands.
This is not a role for someone who simply manages spreadsheets or reports inventory levels.
This role is about ensuring we never run out of product.
At the same time, you must ensure we never carry unnecessary excess inventory.
Your mission is simple:
Always be in stock.
No excuses.
What You Are Signing Up For
Our brands currently manage 140 SKUs and are scaling rapidly.
You will be responsible for forecasting demand and coordinating production so that inventory arrives exactly when it needs to.
Not too early.
Not too late.
You must constantly balance:
- demand forecasting
- production lead times
- manufacturer capacity
- inventory levels
Your job is to ensure we are never backordered.
What You Will Own
You will take full accountability for supply chain and inventory planning.
That includes:
Demand Forecasting
You will monitor daily sales patterns across all channels and use those insights to forecast
future demand.
This includes:
- SKU-level forecasting
- Identifying sales trends
- Adjusting forecasts based on growth
Your forecasts must be accurate and proactive.
Inventory Planning
You will determine:
- how much inventory to produce
- when to produce it
- where it should be allocated
Your goal is to maintain the perfect inventory balance:
- never out of stock
- never sitting on unnecessary inventory
Manufacturer Coordination
You will work directly with our co-manufacturers to ensure production stays on schedule.
This means:
- staying on top of production timelines
- anticipating delays before they happen
- ensuring finished goods arrive on time
You will push manufacturers when necessary.
You will not allow production delays to create stockouts.
Inventory Visibility
You must always know:
- current inventory levels
- production in progress
- inbound shipments
- future demand projections
At any moment, you should be able to answer the question:
“Are we at risk of going out of stock?”
Problem Solving
Supply chain problems happen.
Your job is to solve them before they impact the customer.
That means:
- identifying risks early
- escalating issues quickly
- finding solutions fast
You are the person responsible for ensuring our inventory never becomes a bottleneck to
growth.
What This Role Requires
This role requires someone who is:
Relentlessly accountable.
Inventory problems are your responsibility.
Highly analytical.
You understand numbers, trends, and forecasting.
Operationally disciplined.
You track every detail.
Proactive.
You anticipate problems before they happen.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Our brands are growing quickly, and supply chain must keep up.
What Winning Looks Like
When you succeed in this role:
- We remain consistently in stock across 140 SKUs
- Inventory levels remain optimized
- Manufacturers deliver product on time
- Supply chain becomes a competitive advantage
- The business can scale without inventory becoming a constraint
Customers should never experience stockouts.
This Role Is Not For Everyone
If you prefer slow environments and predictable workloads, this role is not for you.
If you want to own outcomes and build a world-class supply chain operation, you will thrive here.
The Opportunity
You will have the chance to build and operate a high-performance supply chain engine supporting one of the fastest-growing consumer brands.
This role will directly impact:
- revenue growth
- operational efficiency
- customer experience
Few roles have this level of impact.
We are looking for someone who wants that responsibility.
