Rowan is looking for a Project Manager, Studio Design that can manage design development, drawings, procurement and presentation documents for our retail & piercing studios. The Project Manager role is for you if you have a general understanding of building codes, outstanding problem solving and organizational skills with a keen sense of design.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design new retail and piercing studios, ensuring design excellence across all locations.
  • Produce design packages for new stores and refreshes, and any required presentation materials, including preparation of design documents consisting of plans, elevations, details, signage and millwork.
  • Coordinate with our internal design team, external consultants, contractors and business partners.
  • Create project solutions and manage the implementation of the various concepts
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize workload accordingly
  • Assist the team in creating, organizing and maintaining standards packages for store development
  • Manage external consultants and suppliers to ensure projects are executed standards.
  • Review and approve construction, signage and millwork shop drawings.
  • Coordinate project requirements with internal partners, including NSO team, Procurement, and Visual Merchandising.
  • Partner with construction team to coordinate execution of details.
  • Adhere to established AutoCAD, drafting, project management and directory standards.

What you bring to the table:

  • Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • 5 years of architectural design experience minimum, ideally in the retail field; In house store planning experience preferred. Experience in jewelry and accessories retail a plus!
  • Good understanding of all phases of an architectural project
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple competing priorities effectively.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam & Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of rendering software, a plus!
  • Strong knowledge of millwork standards, details and construction.
  • Strong analytical skills, highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Occasional travel
