We are hiring a Director/Senior Director of FP&A to play an important role and be a valuable contributor to our business. We are looking for someone excited about working in a high growth, faced paced environment with a passion for designing a path forward and a real love for beauty. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will build key partnerships with the leadership teams in Sales, Marketing, Product Innovation, and Operations.
The Director/Senior Director of FP&A will be the leader driving all aspects of financial planning for the brand. He/she will be the key resource for the Executive Committee for insights on our financial results and will also be the strategic and analytical thought partner for future business decisions. The ideal candidate will strive towards a continuous improvement mindset, understand the underlying business and its sales and profitability drivers, and propose process improvements to streamline workflow, improve timelines, and identify and assist in assessing revenue opportunities and cost improvements.
How You'll Contribute
- Support the building of the 3-5 year long range financial plan alongside the Executive Committee, CEO, COO, and Founder, helping to establish the long term vision and financial goals of the company
- Lead the annual budget process, working with the Sales, Marketing, Innovation, and Operations teams to establish key financial targets for the company on an annual basis and support the execution of the plans
- Lead the quarterly financial forecasting process, identifying key risks and opportunities to the business performance and working with cross-functional teams achieving results
- Partner with accounting and business teams for month end close, assessing results vs. budget and forecast and identifying opportunities for improved growth and profitability
- Report monthly financial results to the Executive Committee, internal team members, and Board of Directors, providing key strategic insights on our performance
- Support the development of quarterly Board of Directors presentations with an eye for strategic story telling
- Act as a key leader and voice for sound financial business decisions for the organization; analyze financial viability of strategic projects
- Lead cross functional process improvements alongside other functional leaders as we become a more global brand
- Partner with Senior Director of Accounting to lead development of a strong finance team with clear roles and responsibilities; empower team to be solutions oriented and accountable; create a team culture that is collaborative and fun to work in
- Partner with cross functional teams on process improvements as we move towards a more global business
- Partner with Senior Director of Accounting and VP of Ops on Netsuite and other IT solution optimization projects
- Lead other ad hoc projects with COO on an as needed basis
What You'll Bring
- BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance
- 10+ years of experience in corporate finance/financial planning, preferably in beauty or CPG industry
- Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, Google Gsuite, experience required
- Experience with IT systems: ERP (e.g., Netsuite), MRP (e.g., Netstock), data warehouses (e.g., Alloy)
- Deep understanding of accounting and USGAAP principles
- Excellent analytical skills with a sharp and detailed attention to business performance
- Competitive spirit with a results-oriented mindset

The range of base salary for this full-time position is between $140,000-$180,000 per year. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skillset, education, and work location.
