Sales and Education Executive, Southwest

Nécessaire is seeking a Sales and Education Executive to join our growing team. This dynamic individual will drive retail sales growth by strategically leading the Southwest Market to achieve Sales and Education initiatives in collaboration with the Nécessaire team and retail partners. Reporting to the Head of Retail Sales & Education, the right candidate has the unique opportunity to build something special for the Southwest Region of the United States. Initial responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving Sales & Education initiatives for Nécessaire in the Southwest Region.
  • Ensuring a consistent Nécessaire brand experience that meets/exceeds company sales and service standards.
  • Identifying opportunities using new creative approaches to develop the market.
  • Hiring, inspiring, and guiding a high-performing sales force.
  • Modeling hands-on leadership by providing continual learning opportunities, coaching, and feedback to strengthen individual & team performance.
  • Developing and leveraging talent to meet both short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Working in tandem with retail partners to coordinate scheduling of all basic, seasonal, promotional, event, and in-store education.
  • Establishing strong relationships with retailer leadership and regional teams, conducting business meetings in key accounts.
  • Driving in-store promotional calendar and events strategy.
  • Attending scheduled corporately programmed events.
  • Ensuring excellent and consistent store merchandising and execution.
  • Owning in-store training for your local market.
  • Submitting all calendars, reporting, and merchandising information in a timely manner.
  • Managing the area budget and prioritizing resources in partnership with retail and finance teams.
  • Leading by example in the execution of all KPIs, service, sales, professionalism, and personal image.
  • Being responsible for reporting and maintaining personal and training budgets within the fiscal year.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiple retailers, including Nordstrom and Sephora
  • Over 3 years of experience managing sales teams and developing the infrastructure to support.
  • Excellent leadership qualities, goal, and vision driven.

  • Strong attention to detail when necessary.
  • Develops people to meet individual career goals and the company's organizational goals.
  • Team player who prioritizes team success over individual accomplishment.

  • Excellent communicator, both written and oral
  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel and work in retail stores up to 80%.
  • Ability to travel.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per year, representing the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and performance. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the Company’s total rewards package for exempt employees.
