We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Account Manager to lead our Sephora business across the U.S. and Canada. This role is responsible for driving wholesale sell-in, retail sell-through performance, and executing best-in-class trade marketing programs. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strong retailer relationships, planning acumen, and analytical capabilities to inform decision-making and drive sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Sell-In
- Lead assortment planning in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Track and manage orders against Sephora’s Open-to-Buy and internal product sales goals
- Assist in prioritizing account sales objectives while balancing supply and retail sales trade-offs
Retail Sell-Through Planning & Analysis
- In partnership with Demand Planning, develop and maintain retail sell-through plans at the SKU level for both core and newness, across B&M and dotcom
- Analyze historical and current trends, retailer and category insights, and consumer behavior to inform forecast accuracy
- Monitor and revise plans based on weekly, monthly, and seasonal retail sales performance
- Track and address inventory risks, including low/out-of-stock situations
Performance Reporting
- Create and own weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting to identify actionable sales-driving opportunities
- Maintain visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide strategic insights across topline and SKU-level trends
Trade Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Own the Sephora marketing calendar across in-store, digital, and app touchpoints
- Brief and lead execution of trade marketing programs in partnership with internal Creative and Marketing teams
- Manage budgets and provide post-mortem analysis to measure ROI and inform future planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
- 5+ years’ prior experience in beauty account management, retail planning or wholesale sales. Prior experience managing a Sephora or similar prestige retail account strongly preferred
- Strategic thinking –understands rationale and business drivers to build recommendations
- Ability to flex to a wide variety of settings ranging from executive meetings to informal working sessions with business partners.
- Agile with numbers, reports, and problem solving; leverages/creates data for informed decisions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional partners
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong Excel and reporting abilities
