The Facilities Maintenance & Equipment Manager is a highly organized and solutions-oriented leader responsible for the care, maintenance, and operational readiness of OVME’s 27 retail Studio locations. This role will develop and lead preventative maintenance programs, coordinate active repair needs across core facilities functions (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, carpet/upholstery cleaning, janitorial), and build out OVME’s first asset management program for medical-grade equipment.
Through close partnership with the Operations and Finance teams, this role, reporting into the Director, Operations, ensures alignment with business priorities and budgeting while maintaining safety, service continuity, and operational excellence across all Studio locations.

Key Responsibilities

Studio Facilities & Maintenance Oversight
  • Lead and manage all Studio maintenance operations, including utility systems, building services, vendor performance, and emergency repairs
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facilities infrastructure
  • Triage and resolve urgent facilities repair requests and field-level troubleshooting as needed across all Studios
  • Manage vendor relationships for facilities services, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost efficiency
  • Ensure all Studios meet brand standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment function
  • Manage invoice processing by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely approvals and accurate documentation as needed
Asset Management & Equipment Strategy
  • Develop and maintain OVME’s enterprise-wide asset management strategy for all medical-grade equipment
  • Track equipment usage, service life, and maintenance history across locations
  • Develop processes to improve repair turnaround times, preventive servicing, and minimize unplanned equipment downtime
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations leaders to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Oversee technology asset management, including hardware tracking, lifecycle planning, and alignment with in-Studio operational needs
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
  • Partner closely with Operations leadership to align facilities strategy with evolving Studio needs and priorities
  • Facilitate strong communication with Field Leadership, including Regional Directors and Studio Managers, to ensure broad visibility into repair status and next steps with a focus on client-centric tone and support
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure alignment between repair/maintenance spend and budget expectations
  • Build relationships with Studio Landlords / Property Management companies as needed in support of ongoing maintenance support, permitting needs, etc.
  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for active repair status, vendor SLAs, and capital asset lifecycle management
  • Maintain proactive, transparent communication with field leaders and corporate partners regarding repair timelines, issue resolution, and facilities initiatives

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 7+ years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or asset/equipment lifecycle management, preferably in a multi-site retail, medical, or hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs
  • Strong organizational, vendor management, and budget tracking skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and calm under pressure, with a solutions-first mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, timelines, and priorities across diverse stakeholders
  • Experience building or scaling asset tracking or maintenance systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, project management tools such as Monday.com, and modern facilities software platforms
