[solidcore] is looking for a Technical Program Manager to serve as the strategic partner and operational leader for our Product and Engineering directors. Located in Arlington, Virginia, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization with a desire to be the leader in the studio fitness space. This role sits at the critical intersection of product strategy, engineering execution, and business operations—driving alignment, enabling leadership, and delivering complex technical initiatives.
You'll serve as the central coordinator for strategic programs, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to cross-functional initiatives while supporting leadership with operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive mindset for unblocking teams and driving outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Program Leadership
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define goals, roadmaps, and success metrics for high-impact, cross-functional initiatives
  • Drive strategic programs that enhance engineering and product operational efficiency
  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including project charters, business cases, milestones, and risk assessments
  • Lead execution across engineering, product, and business teams, ensuring timely delivery and cross-team coordination
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring accountability and alignment across all stakeholders
  • Leverage Agile and Scrum methodologies to facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning across teams
  • Manage program tracking and reporting using tools like Jira, Confluence, and other project management platforms
  • Chief of Staff Responsibilities
  • Support Product and Engineering directors with strategic planning, meeting preparation, agenda development, pre-reads, and follow-up tracking
  • Own executive communications: draft presentations, progress updates, and stakeholder reports for leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate recurring check-ins, progress reviews, and decision-making forums across product and engineering
  • Drive execution of department-wide events (e.g., All Hands, planning sessions): content development, presentations, and logistics
  • Technical Implementation & Change Management
  • Lead the implementation of new systems and tools across the product and engineering organization
  • Develop and execute change management strategies in alignment with [solidcore]'s business objectives
  • Coach and consult teams to adopt new ways of working, tools, and processes
  • Champion adoption of engineering and product best practices, workflows, and digital tools
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Analyze engineering, product, and business data to produce actionable insights and support informed decision-making
  • Provide strategic and tactical thought leadership leveraging data and experience to influence cross-functional alignment
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes in planning, execution, quality, and delivery
  • Serve as the subject matter expert, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable updates for stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in program management, technical operations, or technical project management
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional programs with complex interdependencies in a technology environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks with hands-on experience facilitating sprints, standups, and retrospectives
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar platforms
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially for executive and cross-functional audiences
  • Experience working closely with engineering, product, and business teams in agile environments
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at bringing structure to evolving programs
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to independently drive initiatives to completion
  • Must be local to the Arlington/DMV area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology-enabled consumer environments
  • Knowledge of code-to-production processes and engineering operations
  • Hands-on experience with product development tools and project management platforms
