About the role

Weee! are looking for a People Business Partner to support our corporate functions, they include but are not limited to Merchandising and Marketplace. As a People Business Partner at Weee!, you'll collaborate with managers to drive our people's goals in business through talent development, performance management, employee relations etc. You'll be the trusted advisor for both managers and employees, addressing concerns with compassion and ensuring legal compliance. Your role will involve managing the employee lifecycle, supporting org buildup, and championing our organizational culture to boost employee engagement. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with managers to gain a deep understanding of their businesses so to align People's goals; provide strategic HR guidance in performance management, talent development, and employee relations
  • Foster strong relationships with your supported teams, addressing concerns with compassion and a systematic approach. Ensure clear documentation and follow-through to resolve issues effectively
  • Assess team and individual development needs, making informed recommendations and implementing effective solutions in partnership with managers
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations, offering informed advice and counsel to managers on personnel and compliance matters
  • Partner with the learning team to design and deliver compliance training and leadership training programs for the headquarters to enhance the leadership and communications for our people managers and leaders
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle in collaboration with the People Ops team, from onboarding to offboarding, and optimize the process to ensure a seamless experience
  • Manage disciplinary issues, and provide strategic advice to business leaders on a case by case basis
  • Champion Weee!'s organizational culture by planning and executing culture-enhancing activities and driving the employee engagement agenda
  • Support hirings of your support business by looking into the org with your managers, defining roles and aligning the org plan with your leaders, designing the hiring strategy, and ensuring a smooth recruitment experience in partnership with TA team
  • In partnership with leaders, develop workforce plans that ensure our success in the long term
  • Support change management as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources or equivalent experiences, with demonstrated knowledge of one or more human resources disciplines
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing day-to-day HR work, ideally as an HRBP or HR Manager
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starting, scrappy, and resourceful work ethics
  • Experience and proficiency in Excel and Google Suites
  • Extremely strong attention to details
  • Can think on your feet but have enough humility to ask questions

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000- $120,000
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
