This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA

About the Role

The Learning & Development Specialist will design, implement, and evaluate training programs that enhance employees’ skills and align with organizational goals. The specialist will conduct needs assessments, collaborate with subject matter experts, and ensure training materials meet the needs of various departments. This role will support employee engagement, skill development and overall performance improvement across Weee!

Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross functional teams to develop training programs aligned with business objectives
  • Develop training content in collaboration with subject matter experts built on sound instructional design principles that engages employees, address their individual needs, learning styles, and maximize knowledge retention.
  • Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, videos, and other course materials, by applying best practices in instructional design.
  • Actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to train and educate employees to enhance their performance.
  • Write and edit technical and procedural documents such as work instruction documents, standardized work, training aids, user guides and/or facilitator manuals, etc.
  • Monitor, track and evaluate training programs to ensure they are current and effective.
  • Continuously improve training based on participant feedback and latest trends in learning and development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related area or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years corporate training experience inclusive of designing and creating training materials or modules and using a LMS system
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal oriented and time-sensitive environment.

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-95,000
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
