We are excited to announce a newly created opportunity to join our Finance Team as our Revenue Accountant💸. As our Revenue Accountant, you’ll be the go-to for all things invoicing, receivables, revenue recognition, and SaaS metrics, helping ensure Tracksuit’s revenue engine runs smoothly, accurately, and in step with our growth.
This foundational role sits at the heart of our Finance function, reporting to our Financial Controller and working across Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Operations to make sure our systems, data, and reporting reflect the real performance of the business. It’s perfect for someone who loves getting into the detail, thrives on process accuracy, and wants to grow their career in a fast-scaling SaaS company.
As our Revenue Accountant you’ll own the integrity of our revenue data - turning transactions into insights, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15, and providing the foundation for confident decision-making across Finance and GTM.
Why Tracksuit?
As one of Australasia's fastest-growing startups, we have assembled a world-class team comprising kind, ambitious, generous, and intelligent individuals.
At just over four years old, we're proud to work with over 1,000 epic brands across NZ, AU, the US and UK, like Doordash, Frank Green, Bondi Sands, Sharesies and more.
Our vision is to be used in every strategic growth conversation for the best consumer brands of today and tomorrow. We’re doing this by becoming the common language to measure, understand and communicate the value of brand building.
We've built beautiful, always-on, radically affordable brand tracking, transforming an old-school, $100k+ market research product into something 10x easier to use and 10x more affordable.
Why this role is exciting:
You’ll be joining a business that’s scaling fast, where Finance is seen as a strategic partner, not a back-office function. You’ll play a critical role in building out Tracksuit’s revenue reporting backbone, working cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and GTM teams to ensure accuracy, insight, and integrity in every number. Your collaboration will help connect financial data to strategic business decisions, supporting transparency and growth across the company.
We’re a tight-knit, supportive, and ambitious team, driven to empower companies to use brand to drive success. Our culture thrives on complete transparency, trust, learning, and constant development and improvement.
Some key aspects of this role:
In this role, we’ll look to you to ensure revenue integrity and reporting accuracy across every step of the quote-to-cash process. You’ll also help evolve Tracksuit’s revenue systems and reporting framework to support automation, better visibility, and faster decision-making.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Invoicing & Receivables: You’ll take ownership of invoicing and receivables, preparing and issuing customer invoices and credit notes through our subscription management tool. You’ll manage collections, receipts, and AR reconciliations across our global entities in NZ, AU, the UK, and the US, while maintaining clean customer data and ensuring billing accuracy across systems.
  • Revenue Recognition: You’ll oversee revenue recognition, maintaining deferred revenue schedules and ensuring compliance with IFRS 15. You’ll reconcile Subskribe billing data to Xero, post monthly revenue journals, and support the Financial Controller during month-end with accurate and timely revenue entries.
  • SaaS Metrics & Reporting: You’ll track and report key SaaS metrics and performance, including ARR, MRR, churn, expansion, and NRR. You’ll prepare monthly revenue and KPI reports for management and board dashboards, and work closely with Analytics and GTM Ops to ensure reporting is consistent across teams.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Finally, you’ll contribute to system integrity and process improvement, maintaining financial data accuracy across Subskribe, HubSpot, and Xero. You’ll identify opportunities to streamline billing and reporting processes and lead automation initiatives across finance workflows. You’ll evaluate and implement AI-driven tools, workflow automations, and data integrations to reduce manual work, enhance accuracy, and accelerate reporting.

That’s the role, so who are you?

  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting or revenue operations, ideally within SaaS, tech, or startups.
  • Experience in end-to-end revenue accounting, invoicing, AR and revenue recognition
  • CA-qualified or working toward CA qualification.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, and confidence managing data flows between systems.
  • A kind, smart and genuine human with a growth mindset.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and, as an early team member, are excited at the prospect of having a tangible impact on Tracksuit’s culture and trajectory.
  • You understand why a great brand is critical to a business’ success (and why it’s important to track, i.e. why Tracksuit exists!)
  • Bonus: You have a strong interest in technology and AI, and are excited by the opportunity to explore how agents and automation could transform finance processes.
Underpinning the experience are our great benefits, including:
⦿ Compensation: Competitive market rate remuneration, which is reviewed twice annually. Our radically transparent compensation policy ensures that salaries are fair across the entire team
⦿ Employee Share Option Program (ESOP): So that everyone on the team has a share in Tracksuit’s success.
⦿ Progressive health and wellness benefits: Including an annual wellness bonus, access to a premium EAP platform, KiwiSaver and 6 weeks of paid annual leave.
⦿ Generous parental benefits: 12 weeks’ paid parental leave for either caregiver, additional sick leave for IVF, gradual return to work.
⦿ A $1000 personal L&D budget for each Trackstar, plus additional growth opportunities including mentorships, speaking engagements, and travel.
⦿ Flexible working: We have beautiful offices in New York, London, Sydney and Auckland. We are office first but offer flexibility day to day and adopt a balanced approach to WFH/in-office work.
Most importantly, when you join, you’ll receive an epic Tracksuit which reflects our vibe. We are built for speed and comfort, we're fun and informal, and we're practical and ready for anything.
We are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace - a place where we can each be ourselves and do the best work of our lives. At Tracksuit we consider a unique perspective, diverse experience and a growth mindset to be of greater value than ticking every box on an JD. If you think you have what it takes but don’t have the exact experience we’ve set out, please still get in touch and apply. We’d love to chat!
🐾 FYI - We’re pet-friendly in principle and practice - with the occasional four-legged visitor adding to the charm, not the chaos.
👉 Please note: While it is preferred that this role is based in Auckland, NZ (& requires you to work from our vibrant office space), we are also open to this position being based from our Sydney, Australia offices for the right person. With flexibility to work from home, we trust you to choose the balance that empowers you & your team to achieve their goals.
We practice transparent compensation at Tracksuit, which means we put a real focus on fair compensation for our people and their roles. Your salary is supplemented with our best-in-class benefits package, as well as generous ESOP.
